Obituary of Patrick Somers
It is with great sadness that the family of Patrick Shane Caleb Somers, age 23, announces his sudden passing which occurred on Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital , from an infectious illness. Born in Sus , NB on September 25, 1994.
Patrick is survived by his mother Rachel Hogan and her husband Jeremy of Sus, NB; his biological father, Jason Somers of ON; common law wife Lindsay Mercer of Sus, NB; sister Megan McLean of Sus, NB; brother Michael Mercer of Edmonton, AB; maternal grandmother Betty Smith of Sus, NB; aunts and uncles, Donna (Phillip) Wood, Clayton Smith, Melinda (Leslie) Tayes, Henry (Amanda) Smith, Shane (Kendra) Smith; cousins Amanda, Jessica, Cassandra, Melissa, Charlotte, Melita, Elizabeth, Samuel, Chelsey, Dusin, Shavanna, Lilly, Jackson, Gracie, Dakota, Toni and Nathan. Patrick was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Henry Smith and uncle Ralph Thorne.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus , (506-433-1176) from where visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8pm.
The Celebration of Patrick’s life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 11:00am. The interment will take place in Riverbank Cemetery .
