It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing in Sudbury, Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the age of 92 years. Husband of the late Georgette (née Bélanger) Montpellier. Son of the late Émile and the late Isola (née Rhéaume) Montpellier. Loving father of Yvon of Sudbury, Robert (Rita), Clément (Ginette), Claire Simard (Gilbert), Royal, Rachel St-Martin (Gaetan) and Claude (Diane) all of Chelmsford, Jacques of Val Caron, Gérald of Hanmer, Denis (Natalie) of Embrun and Liliane Montpellier of Gatineau. Predeceased by his sons Roland, Léo and his daughter Liliane. He will be sadly missed by many brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Patrick was a 4th degree Knights of Columbus, council 2250, Assembly Mgr. Adolphe Proulx. He was also a member of the Club 50 Chelmsford and the senior’s craft shop. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R.R. 15 Thursday, October 18th, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 19th, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St-Joseph Church, Chelmsford. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Northern Cancer Foundation can be made by cheque or online at www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca.
