Patricia “Tish”‘s Obituary
NEW GLASGOW – Patricia Ann “Tish” Perrin, 59, New Glasgow, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by her family.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Bernard “Jack” and Muriel Geraldine “Gerry” (Murphy) Ross. Tish was a Residential Counsellor with HCRS, having been employed with the former Pictou County Co-op for many years – affectionally known as “Tish from the Co-op”. She enjoyed flower gardening, playing Auction 45’s, “Friday Night Happy Hour”. Tish especially enjoyed spending time at the summer home in Country Harbor, walking on the beach and the annual trips to Cuba. Spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, was most important. Tish always made time to chat, no matter how busy she may have been. Her joyous smile and vibrant personality will be missed by all those she loved.
Surviving are her husband, Doug; daughters, Peggy (Chris) Campbell, Coldbrook; Shelley (Kris) Hefler, Calgary, Alta.; step-daughter, Nicole (Mark) Dewolfe, Little Harbour; step-sons, Chris (Brandie) Perrin, East Lawrencetown; Matthew (Michelle) Taylor, Eastern Passage; grandchildren, Connor, Keegan, Maya, Abbi, Alyssa, Brady, Evan, Ally, Gracie and Georgia; sisters, Gwen (Ken) Savage, MacLellan’s Brook; Kathy (Everett) Baker, New Glasgow; Donna (Ronnie) Conway, Plymouth; brothers, Jim Bell (Susan McCarrol), Coldbrook; Bernie Ross, French River; Scott (Margie) Ross, New Glasgow; Donnie (Janice) Ross, Lower Sackville; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by step-daughter, Andrea Dawn Perrin.
The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22 in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23 in the chapel with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Interment will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
