Obituary Overview
BOWMAN, Patricia Rona (nee Rhodes)
Passed away peacefully at LHSC – University Hospital on August 26, 2018 in her 81st year. Predeceased by her loving husband Gerald (2016). Loving mother of Kevin (Laurie), Jack (Patricia), Bonnie Goddery (John), and Lee (Ellen). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Julie, Cori, Johnnie, Kristen, Jocelyn, Dan, Hayden, Harrison and 11 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Joyce (Ray) Planques and John W. G. (Barbara) Rhodes. Sister-in-law of Donald L. Bowman. Beloved daughter of the late Honourary Captain Harold Gordon Rhodes and Ann Camelia Rhodes. Aunt to David, Bob (Kim), Derek (Lisa), and David Rhodes; and great aunt to Max and Christie Planques. Pat’s career took her from working with Toronto Dominion and the Bank of Montreal to being President of Bowman Holdings Inc. Her passion was with the Girl Guides of Canada, as a leader and camp advisor for over 45 years. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 1:30 – 3:00 pm for a celebration of Patricia’s life at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1997 Dundas Street East, London (at Wavell). A private family interment of cremated remains will take place at a later time. The family would like to thank Oak Crossing Retirement Living for their attentive and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Patricia R. Bowman to the London Food Bank.
