Pascal Daigle
1923-2018
SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – Pascal Daigle,
95, passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria, Saint-Louis on Sunday,
September 2nd, 2018. Born in Saint-Charles, he
was the son of the late Jos and Lucie (Daigle) Daigle. Known by
everyone as “Le Casque Blanc”, Pascal was a hard
worker. Before retiring he held many jobs, but the job he really loved
was working in the woods.
Pascal leaves to mourn his four daughters, Yvonne
Vautour (Amédée), Claudette Smith (Gordon), both
of Richibucto, Terry Daigle (late Roch Beland) of Lévis, QC
and Marie Comeau (Ron) of Richibucto; his son, Gérard
(Donna) of Lindsay, ON; his 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren
and 13 great great grandchildren; his sister Delma Vaillancourt (late
Hilaire) of Aldouane; as well as many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, Pascal is predeceased by his
wife Rita (née Cormier); his five sisters,
Mélina, Kate, Dora, Christine and Yvonne; and five
brothers, Sylvestre, Emile, Delphis, Ned and
Camille.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s
Funeral Home, Richibucto on Wednesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and
Thursday from 2:00pm until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass
will be celebrated on Thursday, September 6th,
2018 at 4:00pm, Saint-Louis-de-Gonzague Roman Catholic Church,
Richibucto.
