Passed away peacefully amongst loved ones, at LHSC – Victoria Hospital, on Monday, November 12, 2018, at the age of 69. Beloved wife of Antonio. Cherished mother of Danny and the late Adriano (2005). Loving daughter of the late Michele and Michelina Ruggiero, and daughter-in-law of the late Donato and Angela Pacifico. Dear sister of Maria Palumbo (Antonio) of London, Salvatore Ruggerio (the late Brigida) of Italy, Donato Ruggiero (Rachele) of France, Antonio Ruggiero of Switzerland, and Giovanna Garofalo (Donato). Sister-in-law of Maria, Nicola, Guiseppina, and the late Concetta. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family wish to express their sincere thanks to the staff at University and Victoria Hospital for the excellent care and compassion they extended. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., with prayers at 8:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Parish, 345 Lyle Street, on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., with Entombment at St. Peter’s Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Filomena are asked to consider St. Mary’s Parish Restoration Fund or the London Regional Cancer Program.

Pamela GrayI am deeply sorry to hear about Filomena and my deepest condolences to her family.
I haven’t talked with her in years, the last time being after Adriano’s passing.
I was a tenant at their building at 125 Gardenwood Drive when she and Tony owned it and their two boys would help with the cleaning.
