Olive Cook (Sullivan)
Cook, Olive (nee Sullivan)- Passed away at the age of 89 in the presence of her loving family on Saturday, May 5, 2018. Predeceased by her parents: William & Belinda Sullivan; her husband Clarence; son Clarence Jr.; son-in-law, Edmund Murphy; siblings: Ann Sullivan, Albert, Cecil & Ches Sullivan. Leaving to mourn her children: Elaine Barnes (Bill), Cynthia Cook-Brown (Ron), Rosalind Manning (Gerry), Beverly Papousek (Mark), Karen Johnston (Peter); siblings: Fred (Joan) and Billy (Donna), Florence Summers (Len) & Linda Malone (Rick). 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a large circle of relatives & friends. Special thanks to the Doctors, nurses & caring staff of St. Clares Mercy Hospital. Also, a special thank you to her homecare worker Yvonne Careen. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. From 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00-9:00 pm on Monday, May 7th & Tuesday, May 8th. Funeral Service to be held at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Logy Bay Rd. on Wednesday, May 9th at 11:00 am, with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Rd. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations in Olive’s memory may be made to St. Mark’s Anglican Church, CNIB or MS Society.
