Olga was born in St. Boswells, Saskatchewan, and grew up in Hannah, Alberta. She met the love of her life, Steve, in Calgary. The couple were married on August 12, 1950, and lived in Portage la Prairie, Metz-France, Moose Jaw, Calgary, Vancouver, and finally Burnaby.
Olga worked at the Vancouver School Board until she retired. After her retirement she was very involved in the Church community at St. Francis de Sales. Olga was a proud member of the Catholic Woman’s League. Also, Olga was very active in the lives of her grandchildren. She would often be seen at sports events, cheering on her grandchildren, as well as supporting them through all their academic and personal successes.
Special thanks to Dr. G. Killick who was so kind and attentive, and to the staff at Rose Garden, New Vista Care Home who gave so much love and care.
