Olga Caroline Teske
Olga Caroline Teske, 94 years, passed away on the first day of summer, June 21, 2018 at her personal care home in Regina, SK. She was born on May 3, 1924 in Kostopo, Poland to Ferdinand and Karlina (nee Kenke) Winslow.
Olga’s family came to Canada in 1929 and settled in Jansen, SK. Olga met and married Daniel Teske at the age of 19. They farmed at Esk, SK until their retirement to Saskatoon in 1973. Olga was forever dedicated to loving her family. She spent hours gardening, cooking, and crocheting. She was a huge Blue Jay fan but her most precious moments were the time she spent with her girls and grandchildren.
Olga, a kind and gentle woman, will be lovingly remembered by her two children, four grandchildren, eight great grand children: RENEE (Garry) Stephan of Regina and family Lea Anne (Pierre Beauchesne) and children Toveah and Taivin, and Daniel; SHEILA Teske of Saskatoon and family Lisa (Wes Lesveque) and children Keesha, Prentice and Revy, and Mandy (Jeff Wagner) and children Alexis, Tristan and Jade; sister Helen (Bonney) of Kelowna, BC.
Olga was predeceased by her parents Ferdinand and Karlina Winslow, her husband Daniel Teske, her brother Adolph and her sisters Wilhmena (Block), Alvena (in childhood), Martha (Renz) and Freida (Welk).
A celebration of Olga’s life will be held at Park Funeral Home, 311 Third Avenue North on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan.
