Obituary of Norman Kilby
KILBY, Norman Leverne
Born September 8th, 1928 and died peacefully in his 89th year, December 21, 2017.
A child of the great depression, Norman always said they were some of man’s greatest days, when most people really cared about their neighbour.
His parents Samuel Kilby and Catherine Laronde Kilby (deceased).
Norman met and married his true love and helpmate of his life in Patricia Burns 62 years ago, on June 25th, 1955.
Their union in Christ favoured five children – Catherine Kilby (Bryce Hughes), David Kilby (Maureen Sommers), Stephen Kilby (Judy Casselman), Jennifer Kilby and Andrew Kilby.
Their 13 grandchildren: James Hughes (Meg Godkin), Joseph Hughes, Christian Hughes (Taylor Ball), Aaron Hughes, Kyle Trumpour (Erin), Sam Trumpour, Devon Trumpour (deceased), Melissa and William Calhoun, Grace Kilby, Amanda Kilby (Ryan Demorest), Sarah Kilby and Katrina Kilby; and great grandchildren, Nalla and Layla Hughes, Hanna Hughes, Rory Trumpour, Khalila, Ryah, Tobias Kilby and Connor Demorest.
Sisters; Evelyn (Henry Jenson) Vivian (Marvin Haskins) and Gloria (Michael Sakovich) all deceased. Nieces Laura, Diane and Nancy Sakovich, Karen Haskins, Carole Linz deceased, great niece Evelyn Linz and great, great nephew Derek Linz.
Patricia truly outlined for Norman, the route and way to the Father’s heart and together they shared, as best man can, their love of mankind in Christ’s image.
Norman eagerly awaits the re-joining of Patricia when they both will be in the presence of God Almighty, their Heavenly Father, their beloved Redeemer, Savior and King Jesus, and their loyal friend and teacher, the Great Holy Spirit of God, where they both will minister to Christ in His Kingdom on earth. Let no one be grieved at his passing, as he is more alive today than he ever was on earth. He is rejoicing around the throne of God the Father and Jesus now.
