Norman Nathaniel Holder (1933-2017)
Norman Nathaniel Holder peacefully passed away in Toronto on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2018 at the age of 84. Norman was born in Venture St. John, Barbados in 1933
Norman is survived by his loving wife Inez Holder and his 4 children, Janice, Phillip, Diana, and Sandra. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, daughter and son’s ln-law, brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews as well as his beloved brother Marshall Holder.
Norman is predeceased by his two children, Cheryl and Gilmour and his sisters, Carmine Connell, Kyrene Lashley and Dorothy Holder.
An avid boxing fan he enjoyed a career in chemistry that spanned from Barbados to England and eventually Canada where he retired from the University of Toronto in 1998.
A visitation will be held at McDougall and Brown Funeral Home on January 10th, 2018 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. The funeral service will be held privately as per the request of the family.
