The passing of Nellie Marian (McKeen) Hildebrand of Douglas, NB, wife of the late Robert Hildebrand occurred on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at the York Care Centre, Fredericton, NB. Born on June 18, 1926 in Mactaquac, NB, she was the daughter of the late Dow and Ethel (Palmer) McKeen. Nellie worked as an operator for NB Tel and on the family farm, Hildebrand’s U-Pick. She was affiliated with the Douglas Baptist Church.

Nellie is survived by her sons, Robert Hildebrand (Ann) of Douglas, NB, Eric

Hildebrand (Debbie) of Douglas, NB; grandchildren, Bradley (Kara), Natalie

(Jason), Christopher (Megan) and Gregory (Jewel); great grandchildren, Breanna,

Taylor, Faith, Alexander and Xavier; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Death: December 30, 2018

In addition to her husband and parents, Nellie was predeceased by her son, Norman Hildebrand, sisters, Vesta Dykeman and Evelyn Erickson and brother, Melvin McKeen.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday January 3, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday January 4, 2019 at 2pm with Rev. Peter Moore officiating. Interment will take place at the Dayton Cemetery, Fredericton, NB at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Douglas Baptist Church or the Canadian Cancer Society. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
