In Loving Memory
M. Nadyne Coons (née Ball)
Nadyne sadly passed away on Friday, November 2 in Huntsville, Ontario.
She leaves her loving children, Michelle Haskin (George) and Michael Coons (Shannon); her sister-in-law Denise; and two beautiful grandchildren, Catrina and Anna Coons who live in Colorado with their mom and dad.
Her beloved Jim passed in 2010 and her only brother, Gary Ball, passed in 2012.
Although Nadyne moved to Huntsville in 2017, she lived most of her life in Welland. She grew up on McCormick St. and attended Ross School and Welland High. In 1963 she went to the Mack School of Nursing in St. Catharines, then married Jim and returned to Welland in 1964, eventually raising her family on Clare Ave. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 34 years, mostly in the Maternity Unit and Day Surgery at the Welland Hospital.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at The Parish Community of St. Kevin on Wednesday, November 7th, 2018 at 10 o’clock followed by cremation. Nadyne and Jim attended mass at St. Kevin’s all their 45 years of marriage.
