Myrna M. Lovely
1933-2018
With brave wings she flies.
Myrna Myrtle Lovely, age 84, of Gordonsville passed away peacefully at
Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville on September 26, 2018. Myrna
was born in Bristol, on December 14, 1933 daughter of the late Roy and
Opal (Brooks) Haines.
She met and married her life love, Neil C Lovely in November, 1952.
They would come to reside in Gordonsville, for most of their 62 years
together, raising a family of 5 children.
Myrna was a member of Women’s Orange Lodge, the Gordonsville Women’s
institute, and an active member of the Gordonsville Community
Cemetery.
Her love of knitting and crocheting will surely remain in many homes
across the country as it was her way of spreading love and kindness to
all she held dear in her heart.
Myrna was predeceased by her parents Roy & Opal; brother, Allison;
sister, Roma; her husband Neil; son Frank and granddaughter,
Brenda.
She leaves to celebrate her life 4 daughters, Lorna (Arthur) Smith,
Heather (Curtis) Osbak, Lori (Paul) DeMerchant, Nancy (Neil) Hallett;
a special Grandma to 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; a
beloved sister to Darlene Lunn, Gaynelle Kirkbride and Neville
(Connie) Haines and their families. A special friend and caregiver,
Dorothy Lupin.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207
Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Friday, September 28, 2018 from
6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018
at 2:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Pastor Vaughn Palin
will officiate. The interment will be in the Gordonsville Community
Cemetery. Donations made to the Gordonsville Community Cemetery or to
a memorial of the donor’s choice.
