Murray Thompson
(Resident of Victoria Road, Ontario)
Peacefully in his sleep at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Tuesday evening, February 20, 2018 in his 77th year. Loving friend and companion of Linda Godwin. Proud father of Daniel (Elena) and Kathleen. Devoted grandfather to Nicholas (Erin) and great-grandfather to Owen.
Murray was an incredibly intelligent man with a sharp wit, who enjoyed reading, James Stewart films and playing his Martin guitar. He understood the art of keeping things simple and knowing what to overlook. He was predeceased by his loving mother, Jean Thompson (nee McPhail).
Visitation & Funeral Service
Friends are invited to call at the COBOCONK COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 6644 Hwy. #35, Coboconk, Ontario (705) 454-3913 on Tuesday morning, February 27, 2018 for Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 o’clock. (Visitation one hour prior). Interment later Lake View Cemetery Kirkfield. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Ross Memorial Hospital Foundaton would be appreciated by the family.
