COLLEY; Muriel Sylvia (née Owen) ~ Peacefully at Golden Plough, Cobourg on February 13, 2018 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late John Colley. Loving mother of David Colley (Catherine), James Colley (Heather), Cathy Jarvis (Tom), April Colley (John) and Ronald Colley (Mahin). Loving Grandmother to 19 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Sister to the late Margarie Owen, Ronald Tarr, Mervin Owen and Bud Owen. Muriel was a people person, she was always friendly, loving and thinking of everyone before herself. She loved the family and always tried to keep her large family together. Muriel had many jobs over the years including working at General Motors, a Drug Store, as a Real Estate Agent (twice), General Foods, Colley’s Fish & Chips, Textron and the LCBO. In retirement, Muriel and John spent many winters in Florida & Texas and enjoyed making many new friends. Muriel’s now at rest and joins her husband, parents and siblings in heavenly peace. The family would like to thank all who have helped Muriel through these past few difficult years including the staff at the Golden Plough, Landmark, Rosewood and the Northumberland Hills Hospital.
