Mitchell Facette November 20 1950 December 14 2018

In Loving Memory Of
Mitchell Facette
Mitchell “Mitch” Joe Facette, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Tiger Lily, AB, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018, at Prairie Lake Hospice, at the age of 68 years.
Mitch was born on November 20, 1950 in Barrhead, AB to Vera and Albert Facette.
After graduating High School in Barrhead, Mitch moved to Kindersley, SK, and attended college in Saskatoon to pursue his mechanic’s license. He worked as a mechanic, bought a gravel truck, and moved to Grande Prairie in 1979. He then bought a tank truck, and became an Oilfield Consultant in the early 1990’s, until his passing in 2018.
He enjoyed older Oldsmobile restoration, going on drives to see the country, vacations to Arizona and tropical destinations, as he loved warm weather. Mitch was a very friendly, outgoing, fun-loving person to be around, and had a great sense of humor. He made friends easily, and knew lots of people.
Mitch leaves to mourn his loving wife of 49 years and 4 months, Gwen; son Ron Facette; daughters: Heather Kephart, and Patricia Herold; as well as
his grandchildren: Kyle, Brandon, Caleb, Carter, Sydney, Kelli, and Kory.
Mitch was predeceased by his father Albert in May 2018, as well as granddaughter, Kaylie in July 2018.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 1:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home, in Grande Prairie. (10005 107 Ave.)
Memorial donations may be made to Grande Prairie Hospice Palliative Care Society (Box 21215, Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 6W7).
