SIMONSEN, Margaret Anne ‘Mickey’
1931 – 2017
It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Margaret Anne ‘Mickey’ Cramer Simonsen (nee Cramer) announce her passing at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, with her sons by her side, on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at the age of 86 years. Mickey was a wonderful lady, with an outgoing spirit; who enjoyed life and loved socializing. She was well known for her wood carving and her artistic abilities. Mickey was an avid volunteer and a beloved member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Red Deer. She will be deeply and sadly missed but lovingly remembered in our hearts forever. Mickey will be greatly missed by her loving sons, Jim (Willa) Cramer and John (Lynn) Cramer, grandchildren, Perry (Colleen) Cramer, Duncan (Rachel) Cramer, Haley (Lucas) Plamondon, Brandon (Ashley) Cramer, Curtis Cramer and great grandchildren, Elias Cramer and Kratos Cramer. She will also be sadly missed by the Simonsen family; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Mickey was predeceased by husbands, Joseph Cramer and Ray Simonsen, two sons, Joe and Jeff Cramer, a grandson, Dawson Cramer, and sisters, Helen and Janet. A Celebration of Mickey’s Life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, December 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Lunch will follow at The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 35, 2810 Bremner Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta. If desired, Memorial Donations in Mickey’s honor may be made directly to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 35, 2810 Bremner Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta, T4R 1M9.
