Obituary for Megan Seymour
Passed peacefully away at Lakeside Homes, Gander on January 1, 2018, at the age of 86 years, Megan Seymour (nee Hall) formerly of Newtown.
She leaves to mourn with loving memories her daughter Christine (Paul) Hitchcock of Gander, son Lloyd (Lauire) of Porter’s Lake, N.S.., the joy of her life, granddaughter Susan (Jeremy) Wylie of Mississauga, Ontario, and great granddaughters Olivia and Julia Wylie. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Her dear and close friends Carolyn and John Crisby. Megan was blessed to have been included in the lives of Janice and Neville Crisby and Marjorie and Robert Hiscock her adopted family.
Megan was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband Harold in 1998, her parents Jesse and Beatrice Hall, brothers Woodrow, Harry, Harold, Baxter, Cyril; sisters Olive and Jean.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 3 from 2:30-4:30 pm at Oram’s Funeral Home, Eastport. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 4 at 2:00 pm from Holy Cross Anglican Church in Eastport. Interment following service at Holy Cross Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations in Megan’s memory may be made to Holy Cross Anglican Church.
