McEwen, L. Joseph – suddenly on Sunday, January 7, 2018 in his 46th year. Son of Margaret Woodcock of Belleville & the late Lloyd Woodcock and Clifford & Barbara McEwen of Belleville. Dear brother of Brad (Connie) McEwen of Trenton, Jackie (Owen) Harder of Stirling and brother-in-law of Pat Forbes. Joe is predeceased by his sister, Theresa Sullivan and by his brothers Christopher and Michael McEwen. He is fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins. The Funeral Service will be held at the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West (613-968-2273) on Saturday, January 13th, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 12:30 until the time of service. Fr. Richard Whalen officiating. Spring interment at Whites Cemetery Bayside. If desired, Memorial Donations to University Hospitals of Kingston Foundation – Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
