With heavy
hearts, the family of Maxine MacPherson, age 78, of Montague, wish to
announce her passing on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the Queen
Elizabeth Hospital, with her family by her side. Born in Montague, she
was the daughter of the late J.D. (John Dan) and Ruth (Vickers)
MacLeod. Maxine will be sadly missed by her loving children
Donna Lee MacPherson and Kerri Wynne MacLeod; sister Donna Pierce
(Bill); niece Ethel Knox (James deceased); nephews Matthew Pierce,
Blaine Kerr (Lydia), Carl Reynolds; special cousins Ola Hamilton,
Bloyce Beck (Jane), George Beck (Lorraine), Myrna Robar (John), Barry
Beck (Nancy), David Stewart (Glenna), Sandra Hume (Auldie deceased).
She was predeceased by her most cherished grandaughter Olivia Ruth
MacLeod; sisters Janet Watterworth (Wilfred), Mae Kerr (Sid); brother
Hal MacLeod; aunt Helen Beck (Cecil); uncle Stuart Vickers; nephews
Freeman Reynolds, Laurie MacLeod (Devona “Bunnie”), niece
Gloria MacPherson (Clifford).
Resting at Ferguson Logan
Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Sunday, October 28th from 2 to
5 pm. Funeral to take place at the Church of Christ, Main Street,
Montague on Monday, October 29th at 3:30 pm. Interment to take place
in the Community Park Cemetery. Donations to the Olivia Ruth MacLeod
Memorial Scholarship at the School of Performing Arts, Holland College
or The Riverview Manor Activity Fund would be
appreciated.
