Passed away in Ottawa on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Gladys Bernhardt (Workman). Dear father of Peter (Sandra Phillips) of Ottawa and Karen of Sault Ste. Marie. Devoted grandpa to Kate (John Kerr) and Sarah. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Monday, October 1 at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 10:00 am to 10:50 am, and during a reception in the Reception Centre following the interment at Cataraqui Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada or the Kingston Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
