Obituary of MARY ELLIOTT
Mary Caroline Elliott (nee Koroscil), 86 years old of Winnipeg, passed away suddenly and very unexpectedly in her home on Monday, April 23, 2018
Mary will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Pam (Rick), granddaughters Alyssa and Katie of Winnipeg and son Ken of Edmonton, AB. Mary was predeceased by her parents Caroline and John as well as her siblings Joyce and Steven.
Mary was a very talented seamstress and enjoyed fixing things and doing alterations for people. Mary was a volunteer at MCC and an active member of Bleak House and the Dufferin Seniors Centre. Mary enjoyed calling Bingo at the seniors centre, attending the birthday celebrations and dances, going on the bus trips out to the nearby strawberry patches, going out for dinner on Saturday night or visiting a sick friend. She was always on the go.
Mary had a heart of gold and was always willing to help out wherever needed. Mary will always be remembered for her quick wit and sense of humour. There was always laughter when “Baba” was around.
A celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Monday, April 30 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
