It is with great sadness that the family of the late
MARY
BRIDGET HICKEY of English Harbour East, NL announces her passing at
the Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank on Saturday, April
21st, 2018, at the age of
84. Leaving to mourn with fond and
loving memories are husband, Jerry Hickey of 56 years; children,
Michael (Patsy) Labour of
English Harbour East, Marlene (Leo) Hickey of Terrenceville, Shirley
(Derrick) Kearley of English Harbour East, Randy (Jennifer) Hickey of
Clarenville, Glenn (Rachelle) Hickey of Brooks, AB, and Natasha (Jody)
Hackett of Duchess, AB; 14 grandchildren, Courtney (Jeff) Scott, Casey
Labour, Curtis (Trina) Hickey, Amy (Dean) Dill, Mandy Hickey, Jeremy
& Lauren Kearley, Tanner Hickey, Logan, Daxton &
Maecie Hickey, Jamie, Deidre & Stevie Hackett; 6
great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Katie, Alan Jayden, Landan, Jayden, and
Spencer; sisters-in-law, Madonna Shea, Shirley (David) Porter, and
Dorcas Labour; brothers-in-law, Leo Hickey, and George Jr. (Karen)
Hickey; special friends, Emily Kearley and Hannah Hackett; plus a
large circle of extended family and friends.
She was
predeceased by her parents, Joseph & Veronica Labour;
daughter, Mary Theresa; brothers, Chesley Labour & Michae1 D.
Hynes; sisters, Caroline Clarke & Marjorie Clarke; and
parents-in-law, Martha & George Hickey.
The Hickey Family will be accepting visitors at St.
Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in English Harbour East on
Monday, April 23rd, beginning at 1:00 pm; and
Tuesday, April 24th, beginning at 10:00 am; from
where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, April
25th, 2018, at 11:00
am. Interment will follow at St.
Anne’s Roman Catholic Cemetery in English Harbour
East.
