Marshall Calvin Farrell
Marshall Calvin Farrell, age 98, of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia passed away at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Drum Head, he was the eldest child of Walter and Katherine (Latham) Farrell. Marshall proudly served his country in 2nd World War with the 7th Medium Regiment, Royal Cdn Artillery until being wounded in December 1944 near Nijmegen. After the war, Marshall became a plumber and then taught plumbing at the Dartmouth Vocational school in the later years of his career. He was a wonderful story teller and had an amazing memory for details of his life.Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Dorothy (nee Armsworthy) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Wayne, Seymour (in infancy), sisters Erma MacInnis, Jessie Pinkham. There will be no visitation or memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mental Health Association of Nova Scotia.
