Peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side Marnie Drouin (née Kettyle) passed away at the age of 68. Beloved wife and best friend of 47 years to Reid Drouin. Caring and loving mother of Erin, Kellie (Louis), Kate (Ryan) and Christie (Ryan). Adored “MeMe” to Hannah, Sadie, Reid, Baker and Drew. Dearly loved daughter of Dorothy “G Dot” Kettyle and the late Ken Kettyle. Survived by her brother Lee and her sister Nancy. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Marnie was a dedicated community nurse for over 32 years. She enjoyed nature, trips to Myrtle Beach with family and friends, she loved to cook especially for family dinners making her famous Yorkshire pudding. Marnie loved spending time with her grandchildren attending the skating competitions , piano recitals, hockey games, soccer matches to name only a few. Marnie and Reid enjoyed their retirement dream house they built in Prescott where she could sit and look out at the St. Lawrence River every day. Relatives and friends are invited to Celebrate Marnie’s Life on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 3 to 7 pm at the Vankleek Hill Curling Club, 136 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill. In memory of Marnie, a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society P.O. Box 1852 Cornwall, Ontario K6H 6N6 or the Canadian Cancer Society113 Second Street East. Cornwall, Ontario K6J 3SJ would be appreciated.
