Marlaine Olga Dell August 28 2018

Marlaine was born in Kostyantynivka, Ukraine on February 5, 1935 to Matilda and John Fried. she came to Canada with her sister Alma and brother Johnny in 1948. Marlaine met and married the love of her live Alvin on April 5, 1958. They had four children and Marlaine left the work world to dedicate her love and energy in raising the family. Marlaine was well known for her delicious baking and cooking – everyone was always welcome and “over” fed. She loved camping and was hoping to go out one more time and have “camping” coffee with her family, and Dear-Dear friends Jackie and Glen. When playing cards and dice there was another side of Marlaine including curse words, loud voices, and a punch in the arm or rib cage if warranted. Marlaine had a beautiful voice herself but always had her favorite songs to be sung by her children and all who joined in. Marlaine was very kind, had a great sense of humor and loved spending time with all her family, her good coffee buddies and dearest friends. Marlaine was loved by all those she touched. Marlaine is survived by her son Robert Dell, daughters Patti Segboer, Linda (Kelly) O’Sullivan, Pam (Dan) McDougall, sister Alma (Henry) Kersch, sister-in-law Ida Fried grandchildren, Justin, Ryan (Sarah), Ben (Erin), Thomas, Hannah (Dustin), Leilani (Chad), Ashley, DJ (Ashley), nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband Alvin, her dearly loved grandson Davin and big brother Johnny.
