Marjorie Littlefield 2018

OBITUARY
Marjorie Littlefield
September 16, 1929 – October 23, 2018
Marjorie Patricia Littlefield, born 16 September 1929, died 23 October 2018, age 89 years. Mom was born in London, England. She lost her dad early in life, and subsequently was very close to her 2 older brothers and her mom. She, like many children during the bombing of London in WWII, was relocated to the country during the worst of it, and was very happy to be reunited with her family afterwards. She married Terry Littlefield and moved to Canada in the early 1950’s. She loved Canada and was very proud to become a citizen. She always told people that Canada was her home but maintained her love of her homeland. Mom worked for the federal government and was recognized for her 21 years of service when she retired from Citizenship. She moved to Victoria after retirement to be close to family and spent many happy years travelling. While in Victoria, she made many great friends, especially her ‘aqua ladies’. She is survived by her 3 children, David (Angel) in Hamilton Ontario, Julie in the Cowichan Valley, BC and Michael (Fiona) in North Vancouver, BC, along with her 4 grandchildren, Madison, Miranda, Kaitlin and Devon. She will be missed by many; her friends who loved her and her family who will miss their Nana. Rest in peace mum, your work is done. God bless you.
A Memorial Tea will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm at the Royal Victoria Yacht Club at 3475 Ripon Road, Victoria. Light refreshments will be served.
As per Mom’s request, she will be cremated and her ashes scattered on the beach on Savary Island.
