Obituary of Marion Martin
MARTIN, Marion Frances (nee Winters) – Passed away peacefully with her family at her side at Four Counties Hospital, Newbury on Saturday October 6, 2018 at 3:40am at the age of 73. Marion is predeceased by her husband of 47 years Robert Joseph Martin.
Marion is survived by daughters Denise Lutz (Greg Johnson) of Ridgetown and Kate Morency (Scott) of Chatham; her four grandchildren, Jennifer (Dan) VanEsse, Justin Lutz (Shelby Dagenais), Cody and Brandon Morency; and great-grandson Ethan VanEsse.
Marion is survived by her sister Ruth Caron of Sarnia and brother Don Winter (Judy) of Bothwell. Predeceased also by her brother Edward Winter.
Survived also by her brothers-in-law Fr. Martin “Sam” Johnston of Ridgetown and Scott Martin of Texas.
Marion was born and raised in Howard Township, daughter of the late Vernon and Doreen (nee Yott) Winter.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street E., Ridgetown on Tuesday October 9, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Marion will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday October 10, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown.
Donations made in memory of Marion to the Canadian Cancer Society, Four Counties Hospital Palliative Care would be appreciated.
