Marion Wilson Holton
It is with great sadness that the family of Marion announces her passing three short weeks after the loss of her soul mate Bill. She died of a broken heart.
Marion is survived by her children Margie (Gord) Davidson, Bill (Anne) and Patsi (Mark) Hunter; her grandchildren Emily (Brian), Elizabeth, Allie, James, Clare, Will, Kate, David, John, Thomas, Daniel and Laura; her sister Bunnie (Don) Hunter; and her sister-in-law Gail (Larry Miller) Thomson. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and good friends. She was predeceased by her parents Bebe (nee Southam) and Jimmy Thomson , her brother Jim and her step-father John Milne.
Marion was a rock in the family; always there, kind, supporting, loving and a great Mom. Georgian Bay was close to Mom’s heart and a place she enjoyed with Dad, family and friends.
A celebration of Marion’s life will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, December 17, 2018 at the Tamahaac Club, 180 Filman Road, Ancaster. Marion will be laid to rest privately at Burlington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Marion’s memory may be made to Diabetes Canada.
