1926-2018
It is with great sadness that the family of Georgia Marion
Belyea, age 92, announces her passing which occurred on Tuesday, March
27, 2018 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Marion had just celebrated
her 92nd birthday on March 22. Born in
Cambridge, NB, she was a daughter of the late Danny and Beatrice
(Akerley) Carpenter. She was born and raised in Cambridge, and besides
eight years of working and living in Saint John, she lived her entire
life in Cambridge-Narrows.
Marion is survived by her children: Susan Belyea, Carol
Campbell (Wayne), Patty Goodine (Ron) and Tom Belyea (Dale); ten
grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister, Martha Sypher; as
well as numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Marion was
predeceased by her husband Harold Belyea; brother Gordon Carpenter;
daughters: Linda Moore and Anna Clarke; and son-in-law, Leary
Moore.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s
Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road,
Norton, NB, where a Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday,
March 31, 2018 at 2:00PM. Donations in memory of Marion may be made to
the Conservation Council of New Brunswick, New Brunswick Federation of
Naturalists or to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
