Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on August 3, 2018 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Gilberta for 49 years. Loving father of Jose and Patricia, Luis and Josephine, John and Karina and Rui and Carolyn. Cherished grandfather of Brandon, Jesse and Matteo. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Assurcao and Eduardo Sousa and the late Maria and Joe Roque. Sadly missed by many nieces. nephews, family and friends in Canada and Portugal. Resting at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E., on Monday, August 6, from 4-9 p.m. Vigil prayers on Monday at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mary’s Church on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
