Obituary of Marilyn Roach
Marilyn passed away peacefully surrounded by family on the morning of Saturday December 30, 2017. She will be remembered as a dedicated wife and mother to five children, grandmother to ten and great-grandmother to seven. Family was always a priority for Marilyn, and she always looked forward to the next family event. She was a sports enthusiast, following Sidney Crosby and the Penguins as well as the Blue Jays. Marilyn was afflicted with MS for the last 40 years of her life, but because of strength and support of her loving husband Pat, she was able to stay home most of those years. Marilyn was predeceased by her husband Pat; mother Edna; father John; step- mother Margaret; and sister Doris. She will be missed by her children Debi (Hugh) Balkwill of Regina, Barry (Shauna) of Calgary, Bryan (Shelley) of Moose Jaw, Bill (Sandra) of Regina and Pat (Dawn) of Stettler; sisters Marian, Mary and Margaret; brothers Doug and Ross; sister-in-law Theresa; and brother-in-law Peter (Marg). The family will be eternally grateful to the staff at Parkside Extendicare, which Marilyn called home for the past few years. As per her wishes, instead of a traditional funeral service, the family will have a private celebration of Marilyn and Pat’s lives at a later date.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Marilyn
