HARVEY, (Parnell) Marilyn Delores age 65 years of Rawdon Gold Mines ,passed away suddenly at home on June 7, 2018.
Marilyn’s birthday would have been June 10th. Born in Halifax she was a daughter of the late Wallace & Grace (Crouse) Parnell.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Harvey, also left behind to remember Marilyn are her brothers, Paddy (Joyce), Terry (Neta),
Sisters, Kathy Clements (Brian Sampson), Colleen (Walter) Kelly, Sister In-laws, Irene,
Mary, Annette and Beverly Parnell, Elise, Etta, Cora, Faye (Don) and Eva. Brother In-Laws –
Ralph Verge, Robert Gallant, Aubery (Pauline), Gary (Paulette), Laurie (Sheila).
Besides her parents she was predeceased, sisters Betty Verge, Carol Gallant,
Brothers -Wally, Ronnie, Robert, Larry, Brother in laws -Ernest and Hughie.
She had 33 nieces and nephews and numerous great and great-great ones which she loved deeply.
Marilyn spent many happy years in Halifax and later in Rawdon Gold Mines. She loved her family immensely and never forgot a birthday. She worked at the Royal Bank Processing Centre prior to getting married to Keith. Marilyn enjoyed swimming, bingo, games, her computer and her pets.
She will always be remembered as a very loving, giving individual and was always willing to help others;
But mostly as someone who cherished all her family above all.
Family will receive visitors 2:00 p.m. Wednesday June 13, 2018 followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. all in Dartmouth Funeral Home, 29 Queen Street, Dartmouth. A brief reception will follow.
