Marie Maillet
1923-2018
Marie Maillet, 95, of Villa du Repos, Moncton and formerly of
Bouctouche, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the
Villa du Repos on Sunday July 22, 2018. She was married to the late
Alban Maillet (1987). Born in Saint-Norbert, she was the daughter of
the late Eddie and the late Suzanne (Léger) Maillet.
She will be sadly missed by her five children; Stella Thibodeau
(Léon) of Saint-Norbert, Irène Richard (Bernard), Anise
Belliveau (Jean), Noël (Glenda) and Livain (Yvette) all of
Bouctouche, her twenty grandchildren, and twenty seven great
grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn one sister Anita Jaillet of
Bouctouche, one brother Laurie of Saint-Norbert as well as
daughters-in-law, sons-in-law and several nephews and nieces.
Marie was predeceased be two daughters; Simonne (1995) and Gloria
(2008), two sons; Désiré (1997) and Gerald (2008), three
sisters; Rita, Lina and Flora as well as two brothers; André
and Emerie.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église, Bouctouche on Tuesday July 24, 2018 from 2 to 4
and 5:30 to 7:15pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the
Saint-Jean Baptiste Church, Bouctouche on Tuesday July 24, 2018 at
7:30 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
In Marie’s memory, donations may be made to the CHU DUMONT
Foundation.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche, NB.
