Peacefully surrounded by her family at LHSC Victoria Hospital on Thursday, January 18, 2018 Maria (nee Iellamo) Malacaria in her 79th year. Beloved wife of 48 years of Giuseppe Malacaria. Loving mother of Andy Malacaria. Proud Nonna of Chanelle Malacaria. Predeceased by her parents Domenico and Saveria Iellamo and her in laws Andrea and Vittoria Malacaria. Dear sister of Pino (Vera) Iellamo, Bettina (Natale) Grasso, Pina (late Domenico) Mazza, Nina (Battista) Cannella. Dear sister in law of Frank (Carmen) Malacaria, Lucia (Enrico) Gamboso, Carmela (late Vincenzo) Corbo, Vincenzo (Elvira) Malacaria, Antonio ((Cleofe) Malacaria, late Domenico Malacaria and Antonietta Guiso. Zia Maria will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 o’clock. Prayers Sunday evening at 8 o’clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Monday morning at 11 o’clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter’s Cemetery. Donations to Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
