BAK, Maria “Mary” (nee Jakab)
Peacefully passed away on February 27th at Henley House in her 96th
year.
Beloved wife of the late John Bak. Loving mother of Eleanor
Keltos-Adams (Ron), Ron Bak (Veronica ), Rosanna Davis (Glenn).
Devoted baba of Rebecca Alfieri (Tony), Andrew Keltos, Frank Keltos
(Sharon), Christopher Bak (Allison), Matthew and Andrew Davis, Debi
and Frank Vilaca. Dear babka of Domenic, Robert, Samantha, Brookelyn,
Michael, Matthew, Emma, Erinn (Chuck), Anthony (Lindsay), Connor,
Molly, Zoey, Hudson, Zac and Griffin. Dear sister-in-law of Mike
(Julia), Steve (Agnes), Rose and Andy. She will be lovingly
remembered by her many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her
father and mother John and Elizabeth Jakab and her sister Annie Vyboh.
Visitation will be held at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39
Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Thursday March 1, 2018
from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at
St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 317 Morton St., Thorold (289-362-1598)
on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 2pm. Vigil prayers to be held at the
funeral home on Thursday, March 1, at 3pm. The Rite of Committal to
follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial
donations to the St. Aloysius Church or Mass Cards to the church would
be appreciated by the family.
