Peacefully passed away at age 88 on June, 11 2018 at Chartwell Waterford Long Term Care Residence in Oakville.
Celina was born and raised in the Azores on October 7, 1929 one of five daughters. She married her love Antonio Faria and in 1961 she and their two young sons joined Antonio for their new life in Toronto. Celina was loved and known for her kind soul and generous heart. She was so full of life, love and dedication for her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Antonio Faria in 2008 and is survived by her sons, Joseph and Tony and her three grandchildren Anthony, Jordan & Selena. She has left us with many cherished and wonderful memories and will be greatly missed.
Special thanks to the staff at the Waterford, who provided heartfelt care and compassion to Celina as she became progressively disabled with Parkinsons. Her life there was filled with friendly faces, kind and loving staff with lots of laughter.
Special thanks also to Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home for their compassionate support and assistance when needed most.

Visitation for Celina will be held on Saturday June 16th 2018 from 10am-11am, her service at 11am and a reception will be held at Kopriva directly following the Interment at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery – 1149 Dundas St W, Oakville, ON.
