Betty Harris Tessaro
M.K. (Betty) Harris Tessaro, born, Marguerite Kathleen, in Burnaby on a Friday, October 13, 1922, spent her entire life being known as Betty. On a bright, clear and sunny Monday, March 12, 2018, Betty, in the presence of family, went on her peaceful journey.
During her 95 years, she lived in Abbotsford, New Westminster, and 100 Mile House. After driving a school bus in Abbotsford and 100 Mile House for 35 years, she retired to Kamloops. She spent many summers with companions, friends and family at their summer place on Shuswap Lake. Her love of travelling took her to Hawaii, Cuba, and even “ballooning” in Kenya.
Betty was predeceased by her son, Morris Tessaro of Revelstoke. She is survived by her son, Gary (Pat) Tessaro of Vernon; daughter-in-law, Diane Tessaro of Revelstoke; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Marguerite Kathleen HARRIS 2018.source
