Margaret Kirk
KIRK, Margaret – Passed away peacefully after a brief illness with her nieces Linda and Betty Jean by her side at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Monday December 3, 2018 at the age of 105. Margaret worked at the Cotton Mill in Welland until her retirement at the age of 65. In her retirement she moved to Niagara Falls to be with her sister Joyce. For the last two years she enjoyed her time at Cavendish Manor Retirement Home. Margaret is fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by her brothers David, Thomas, George, William, James, Alan, Irwin and Earl Kirk. And her sisters Ethel Airdrie, Joyce Kirk, Doris Kirk, Jean Humpheries, Betty Mallett and Lois Devereux.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St., on Saturday January 12, 2019 from 11 am to 1 pm with a service to celebrate Margaret’s life will follow at 1pm. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to St. Davids-Queenston United Church.
