Marcine Kathryn Stubbs
Marcine Kathryn Stubbs, resident of Grande Prairie, formerly of Beaverlodge, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Points West Hospice, at the age of 64 years.
Marcine was born in Beaverlodge on June 18, 1954. She grew up on a farm near Valhalla and then moved into Grande Prairie where she attended school. Marcine attended University in British Columbia and then worked as a Secretary.
Marcine was a very loving and kind-hearted woman. She was very easygoing with a huge sense of humour. She had many friends in Grande Prairie and surrounding area that loved and adored her.
She enjoyed graphic design, scrapbooking, walking her dogs, gardening, and spending time with her daughters and family.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Karleen Kincaid, Angela Kincaid, and Bryanna Stubbs; grandchildren Jaydin Kincaid, Nolan Pankiw, and Annalea Kincaid-Kennedy.
She was predeceased by her loving husband and life partner Darrel Lee Stubbs, brother Dale Foss, and parents Olaf and Beaulah Foss.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018, at 4:00pm, at Valhalla Lutheran Church. Interment to follow at Valhalla Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Grande Prairie Hospice Palliative Care Society (Box 21215, Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 6W7).
