1934-2018
DA COSTA, Manuel.
Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, surrounded by
his loving family , at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of the
late Conceiçao. Loving father of Manny (Grace), Maria de Fatima
(Tony) and Hortense (the late Nelson). Cherished Avô of 8
grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 expected great grandchild
in December. Survived by his siblings Maria (the late Manuel), Estela
(the late Manuel) and Hortense (Ernesto). He will be sadly missed by
many relatives and friends. Manuel’s passion was the Banda Lira
Do Espirito Santo of the Portuguese Club of Cambridge as well as his
children.
Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street N., Cambridge on
Monday, August 13, 2018 from 5-9pm. Prayers will be recited at the
funeral home at 8pm. Funeral Mass will be held from Our Lady of Fatima
RC Church, 185 Elgin Street S., Cambridge on Tuesday, August 14, 2018
at 11am. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
