MANSFIELD – Edith P., 58, of Westfield, Queens County, passed away at home on Saturday, July 7th, 2018
Born in Caledonia, she was a daughter of Frances (Mansfield) Fancy of Caledonia and the late Avery Fancy.
Edith worked for the North Queens Nursing Home for a number of years. More recently, she worked in the agricultural canteen during the Queens County Fair. Edith enjoyed nature at its fullest, especially those who frequented her feeders in the fall and winter. Above all, her greatest joy was her grandchildren.
Surviving besides her mother are her husband Kevin, daughter Amanda (Troy Fiander) of Lower Sackville, sons Devin (Terri) of Western Head, Jason (Erin) of South Brookfield , Christopher (Terra-Jean) of Westfield. Grandchildren Tyler, Andrew, Avery, Kale, Deacon, Parker, Wyatt, Chase, Valerie and Emma. Sister Carolyn (Rodney) Crouse and brother Rodney (Wilma) Fancy of Pleasant River and her beloved best friend Lynn Murray of Westfield.
Edith was predeceased by her sister Anna.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. There will be no funeral service. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the North Queens Fire Association. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com
