Obituary of Mac Elliott
Elliott: Mac Richard, a resident of Thamesville, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the age of 89. Born in Euphemia Twp., son of the late John LeRoy and Cleada (Spencer) Elliott. Mac owned and operated a service station for Sunoco and U.P.I. in Thamesville from 1959 until his retirement in 1997. He was a past member of the Orangemen’s Lodge in Bothwell, the Thamesville Legion Br.#367 and served on the Thamesville Fire Department for 16 years. Beloved husband of Luella (Knapp) Elliott. Loving father of Richard (Bobbi Jo), Ronald ( Melissa), Ross Elliott (Angie), Evelyn James (Brad), Wendy Wallington (Wayne). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Mac, Garrett, Shane, Beth Anne, Wade and Marty Elliott, Danette Metivier and Crystal James and 3 Great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Marjorie Pike, Doreen Pitel,and brother-in-law to Leta Elliott, Betty Elliott, Bill Knapp (Nancy), Irene Williams (Ralph). Predeceased by his brothers George and Jack Elliott, and brothers-in-law Harry Pike, and Louis Pitel. The Elliott family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Monday from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 2:00PM. Interment Mayhew-Mt.Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. Donations (by cheque) to the Thamesville Baptist Church, CKHA Foundation (Diagnostic Imaging Campaign) or the Thamesville Legion BR.#367.
