At Stratford General Hospital on Thursday, December 06, 2018, Mrs. Mabel Jacklin of Wingham, at the age of 85.
Beloved wife of Leslie Jacklin of Wingham. Dear mother of Elizabeth & Ken Cowan of South Surrey, B.C. and Rick & Vicki Jacklin of R.R. #1, Wroxeter. Cherished grandma of Sarah & Bob Boertien, Matthew Cowan & Rachel Adair, Melissa Cowan & Aaron Biliski, Jarryd Jacklin & Meagan Chamney, Jamael Jacklin & Courtney Clark and Jordan & Jen Jacklin. Great-grandma of Zack and Hannah Boertien, Jadyn, Keeton, Ryland, Presley and Julia Jacklin. Sister of Isabelle Hislop, Mae Thorpe and Edith Quipp. Sister-in-law of Leonard & Ully Jacklin, Don Jacklin, Joyce O’Connell and Glen Jacklin.
Predeceased by her parents Meldrum & Viola (Sharpin) Sanburn, son Reuben Jacklin (2002), brothers Charles and Jack Sanburn and brothers-in-law George Hislop, Harry Thorpe, Harold Quipp, and Eric O’Connell.
Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11:00 am. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Final resting place, Wingham Cemetery.
