Lyle Arthur Bongard 19562018

Lyle Arthur Bongard
1956-2018
It is with sadness that family and
friends announce the passing of Lyle Bongard on June
28th, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers
Hospital, Fredericton, NB.
Born on July 10, 1956, he was the son
of the late Mac and Frances Bongard.
He is survived by his brother,
Mitchell Bongard (Gail), sisters Heather Kish and Ann Bongard, friend
Gloria Brown, nieces and nephews Julie and Nick Bongard and Rachel and
Kyle Kish, very special best friend Jayne Chase and stepsons Rob Deap
(Tanya) and David Deap (Melissa). Pre-deceased by his wife,
Denise Bongard and mother-in-law Vera Lavoie.
Lyle was best known as the owner and
operator of Lyle Bongard’s RV Sales prior to his retirement
in 2015. Lyle loved the outdoors, whether it was spending
time at his camp on the Taxis River, hunting, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling
and boating. He had a huge love for his pets, taking in many
strays and providing them with a good home.
Special thanks to Dr. Blythe, Dr.
MacMillan, Caroline McLaughlin, caretaker Brenda Carr, attending
physicians and health-care professionals at the DECH for their
compassionate care.
A celebration of life will take place
Tuesday, July 3rd at the Delta Hotel
Fredericton, Royal Suite, room 717.
Please join family and friends to share memories of Lyle between 4 pm
and 8 pm. A private grave-side service will be held at a
later date.
For those who wish, memorial tributes
may be made to the Fredericton SPCA or to a charity of the
donor’s choice.
