Obituary Overview
Lucille Séguin (née Guenette)
Lucille Séguin passed away peacefully on March 23rd, 2018 at Saint-Boniface Hospital.
Mom leaves to mourn her sons Ronald (Marilyn) and Paul; her daughter Monique (Joey Wilkinson); her grandson Sean (Katrina) and great-grandson Joshua. She was predeceased by her husband Lucien, several brothers and sisters and one sister-in-law.
Mom was a very special woman and lived life to the fullest. Her special relationship with her daughter brought her much joy. They were like two peas in a pod. Mom loved her special weekends in Gimli by the lake with Monique and Joey. Mom always looked forward to her visits to Vancouver where her sons lived. She missed them terribly. She lived independently and enjoyed her almost daily lunch outings with her sister Alice, Germaine and Denise. The family would like to thank our cousin Denise for making our mothers final years so enjoyable.
Mom and Dad enjoyed many trips after retirement. They also loved their weekends at St. Malo in their camper. Mom mostly stayed home for us during our life on Cabana Place but was very proud to join the works force with a position at Weight Watchers which she held for many years. She loved to dress up and always looked amazing. She was the kindest, sweetest most positive woman we ever knew.
We would like to thank Dr. Asita Mehta for the special attention and care that she showed our mother.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, April 5 at Sts. Martyrs-Canadiens Parish, 289 Dussault Ave. A private interment will take place at a later date at the St. Boniface Cemetery.
You were the best Mom ever.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Lucille Seguin 2018.source
