LORRAINE LACROIX
July 14, 1931 – November 22, 2018
LaCroix, Lorraine (nee Larrivee) 87 years old, passed away suddenly at home November 19, 2018. She was born July 14, 1931 in Manchester, New Hampshire, USA to Albert and Catherine Larrivee and was sister to Paul. She married Paul Emile LaCroix (predeceased) and was the loving mother of 8 children Danielle (Ed), Michael (Lynda), Jeannette, Christiane, Robert (Barbara), Garry (Debbie), Jacques aka Jim (Dawn), Paul (Jackie) loving grandmother of 15 grandchildren Janine, Morgan, Shelley (predeceased), Annette, John, Joshua, Jeanette, James, Jeremy, Darryl, Stephanie, Ryan, Scott, Jason, Brooke and Kate and loving great grandmother of 10-7/9 great grandchildren Ian, Alex, Matthew, Tyson, Cameron, Kaylie, Yvaine, Odin, Veda, Aria, and Baby boy expect January 23, 2019. Lorraine was aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was a very talented and intelligent lady. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting and needle point. She worked for Sears in the accounting department for 22 years and went on to work for 2 computer firms until her retirement on her 65th birthday. We will be hosting a memorial visitation to celebrate her life to be held at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL 1587 Highway #2, Courtice (905-432-8484) on Friday, November 30, 2018, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A “Celebration of Life” reception will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 3:30 pm with family tributes shared at 1:30 pm.
