1970-2018
It is with profound sadness we announce
the passing of Lori C. Herrett-Power, 47
years of Springhill on, Monday, January 15, 2018 in the QE II Health
Sciences Centre, Halifax.
Born in Springhill, she was a daughter
of the late David Herrett and the late Claire (Hunter)
Long.
She enjoyed the cottage and beach in
Linden which she called her “happy place”. She loved
spending time with her family and friends as well as her beloved pets
Zoe, Mittens and Callie. She was always quick with a pun or a bad
joke, known by everyone as ‘Lori jokes’. Lori was a believer in
sharing her story with others to help them through their own difficult
situations. She was always one to put others first and was well loved
because of that.
She will be dearly missed by her
husband, Andrew, children Megan and Ryan all of Springhill; siblings,
Greg (Wanda) Herrett, Springhill; Michelle Herrett, Donna
Thorheim, Norway, John (Denise) Long, Stewiacke, NS and Michael Long,
Saint John, NB; step mother, Carolyn Herrett, Springhill, NS and step
father Leo Long, Springhill, NS; as well as nieces, nephews and many,
many friends.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased
by sisters Shauna Stewart and Jackie Gregg.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the
A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane
Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361) where a funeral service will take
place on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 2 pm, Life Celebrant Scott Balser
officiating. Burial will take place in the Hillside Cemetery
in the spring

to Leukemia/Lymphoma Society or the charity of your
choice
