Obituary of Lois Lynch
Age 75, of Mount Denson, passed away peacefully in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville on Tuesday, June 27, 2018. Born in Selma, Hants County and she was a daughter of the late Clayton and Daisy (Peach) Hiltz.
Lois attended Nova Scotia Normal College where she achieved her teaching degree and taught in Hants, Kings and Halifax County before the family was transferred to various military bases across Canada and the USA. She worked for many years at Avon Valley Floral. Lois had a passion for puzzles, bird watching, hosting family gatherings and holiday dinners for decades and admiring the outdoors from her deck and sunrooms.
She is survived by her husband, George; daughter, Vicki, Lower Sackville and son, Darren, Three Mile Plains; brothers, Rodney (Nellie) Hiltz and Bernard (Annie) Hiltz; sister, Janet (Rick) Dexter; numerous nieces and nephews.
Lois was predeceased by her son, Kevin; mother-In-law, Elsie (Reece) MacDonald and father-in-law, George Lynch.

Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert Street, Windsor (902-798-8317). A public graveside service for Lois will be held at the Mount Denson Community Cemetery on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., Pastor Craig Faulkner officiating. A reception will follow in the Mount Denson Community Hall. Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to New Boundaries, PO Box 1075, 79 Centennial Dr., Windsor, NS B0N 2T0 or a charity of one’s choice.
